The college has a central library, containing up-to-date texts & journals. Books are issued to the students as per rules and regulation of the library. At a time two books may be issued in the home lending section to Honours students and one to the General Degree students. Books borrowed by the students must be returned to the library within the specified date failing which not only fines may be charged but also disciplinary measures may be taken against the student concerned. Cutting off pages from a book, disfiguring or damaging of books are serious offence and shall be severely dealt with which may go upto the extent of expulsion from the college. Defaulters of tution fees are not allowed to borrow books. Perfect silence must be maintained in the reading room of the library .
At the end of the academic session every student is required to obtain the library clearance certificate from the Librarian. This certificate must be produced to the college office without which Final Examination Forms will not be issued to the student(s) concerned.
Concessions in tution fees are granted to the poor but meritorious students as per Government rules and regulations. Application has to be made in the prescribed form to be had from the College office. Concession in tution fees shall be discontinued if the students’ conduct, attendance and progress are found unsatisfactory .
Financial assistance is provided to the needy and meritorious students from the Teachers’ council .
Lumpsum financial relief or assistance is given to poor and meritorious students from Students’ Aid Fund .
Railway quarterly concessional tickets are permissible as per Indian Railway Rules, to a student coming from home by train on production of fee book showing payment of up-to-date fees. Students may also avail themselves of concessional rate in bus fare while traveling from home to College by Bus as per rules of the Bus Syndicate(s) concerned .
Each student must possess a photo- identity card issued by the College and shall produce it whenever demanded by the authority .
For the interest of the students and to avoid theft or loss of cycle, there is a cycle stand .
Good food, snacks and tea are supplied to the students at subsidised rates from the students’ canteen .
Educational Excursions are conducted from time to time by the Honours departments of the College .
It provides medical facilities to the current students of the college .
Maximum 100 No. of Students may enroll their name under NSS unit from the Academic session 2005 – 2006 .
College provides separate Girls’ and Boys’ common Room with indoor game facilities .
